Energy Healing Session
Energy healing is work that channels life force energy to promote healing and balance in the body, mind, and spirit. During an energy healing session, you can expect the practitioner to place their hands on or above your body in specific positions to transfer, move, read and release energy. Energy healing is a non-invasive touch therapy that doesn’t involve pressure, massage, or manipulation.
Here’s what else you can expect:
Clothing: You can remain fully clothed and don’t need to remove any clothing or expose private parts.
Position: You can sit in a comfortable chair or lie on a massage table. The practitioner will place their hands palms down on or just above your head, limbs, and torso. They may hold their hands in each position for 3–10 minutes or until the flow of energy in their hands indicates it’s time to move. With your permission, the practitioner may place charged crystals/gemstones on your main chakra energy centers.
Atmosphere: The room may be dimly lit, and there will be soft, relaxing soundscape music playing. Sound healing therapy is offered as needed to clear the energy or to balance, align, or open specific chakras. There usually isn’t much talking during the session, but you can let the practitioner know if you need anything to feel more comfortable. Aromatherapy options are provided at the start of the session, the offering is optional.
Sensations: You may experience sensations in your body such as heat, tingling, or gentle pulsing. Some people also report seeing visualizations like colors, images or having memories come to mind. However, you might not experience any sensations or visualizations at all.
